At 25 years old, Jones has encountered challenges in securing a consistent spot in the starting lineup under manager Arne Slot. More often than not, he finds himself on the sidelines rather than on the pitch. Currently, the competition for positions at Liverpool is fierce, with players like Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Florian Wirtz all ahead of him in the lineup.
Despite these hurdles, Jones has participated in 29 matches across various competitions for the Merseyside team this season, showcasing his versatility by playing in different roles.
