Despite Vern Cotter ruling himself out of the running with his recent two-year deal with the Reds, several prominent candidates remain in the running for the head coach position. Tuipulotu noted, 'There's a list of contenders, but none of us know who's on the shortlist. We provided our preferences for a coach to a panel, and I believe our input was considered.'
